Düül Suns – “Jealousy (early dawn mix)”

Being out of NYC these days cuts down on some of my lower bill discoveries, but thankfully Tim over at Island House is hitting the shows and putting great bands like Düül Suns on his recent L.A. Wildfire compilation. Hat tip to Tim for the introduction here, and I’m excited to see that the band is pushing out of the live sphere and into an upcoming EP. The group’s got an early peek at the record with this demo mix of EP track, “Jealousy,” and if this is just the setup, then the EP is definitely one to get on your radar. Swept into a psychedelic haze, the track winds around prog fog with a bedrock of propulsion. Keep the suns in your back pocket and keep an eye out for their full debut later this Spring.
