More ‘70s-coated cool arrives in advance of the new Drugdealer LP this week. The new single brings together two RSTB faves, with Kate Bollinger dropping in for a vocal collaboration while Natalie Mering is presumably on vacation. Kidding aside, Bollinger and Drugdealer make for a rather inspired pairing, with her velveteen vocals adding an ultraglide sheen to the wood-paneled wonderland that Collins’ lays down beneath them. The song has a late night crush to it, pairing Kate’s pining lyrics with the kind of restlessness that roams the mind, streets, and sidewalks at 2AM. The new album, Hiding In Plain Sight, is out October 28th from Mexican Summer.
