Swinging the opposite direction from the first post of the day, the new single from Dog Chocolate is anything but smooth. The UK band have had a quiet period over the past few years, but they come roaring back this year with a new album of crushed glass riffs and post-punk pop rocks that hit the listener like tin on fillings. The latest single, “Fun Is Always Brilliant” is a rumpled, rankled smack in the windpipe paired with a video that rifles through the thrift store shelf of the mind. The band’s new album, So Inspired, So Done In, is out this week from Upset The Rhythm.
