Cactus Lee – “Bad Luck”

A second single slowly saunters out of the new record from Cactus Lee. Dehan’s always had a way with an unhurried ease, but “Bad Luck” feels even more faded and folded than usual. The song wafts onto the speakers on a breeze of piano and soft strums. As the title might hint, it’s a tale of small woes wrapped in sympathetic warmth. Turning down the barroom country ramble for something a bit more intimate, a call back to his early bedroom days scrubbed up with a studio sheen, the new single shines on Dehan’s new album Lee’s Dream, out April 19th from Western Vinyl.
