Aussie favorites The Gnomes have already cemented themselves around here with an excellent debut that hit the year-end list in 2025. The band wastes no time getting back to work, thickening up their garage punk for a furious new single, “Magic Man.” With a battalion of guitar, a sweat-dipped beat, and shout-a-long chorus, the new single hurtles the band forward for 2026. The single sheds a bit of their Kinks-ian charm in favor of some ‘70s smoke, but the shift looks good on ‘em. The new single comes packed as part of a new EP, More, out May 13th.
