Some extra added excitement in the wake of the announcement that Woodsist Festival will resume this year — Woods have just put up an expanded version of their last album Strange to Explain. The digital-only version has five bonus tracks and includes two new tracks, two outtakes and an alternate take of “Be There Still.” You can hear one of the new cuts above, the afternoon sun soaked single “Waiting For A New Me.” The song picks up on a lot of Strange To Explain’s themes of home and finding comfort in oneself. With a splash of horns and a blanket of harmonies, this is just the right song to emerge from a cold Northeastern weekend into the arms of summer. More Strange is out July 23rd from Woodist.
