Whitney’s Playland – “Long Rehearsal”

Really excited to share this one today! RSTB faves Whitney’s Playland return with a new EP on the way this summer. Following up the much played (around here) album Sunset Sea Breeze and a couple of ace pop-ups on comps from Prefect and Dandy Boy, the band leads off the new EP with the single “Long Rehearsal.” A breezy, beautiful cut that curls its velvet pop around the listener with a relaxed air, the new single finds the band in full force in the studio, recording as a four-piece this time around after expanding to tour their previous album. Wistful jangles abound and the song hangs on Inna Showalter’s perfectly melancholy delivery. A sweet dose of pop to peek into the week. Long Rehearsal finds its way out June 20th from Dandy Boy.
