The Tubs – “Narcissist”

It’s been a packed day, but I’d kick myself for forgetting to mention a new single from The Tubs. The UK favorites return with their second album this Winter, doubling down on their grandly sweeping indie pop. “Narcissist” finds the band tangling strings and swoons once more, a jangled gem that sweeps the listener away on soft harmonies from Owen ‘O’ Wilson along with Ex-Vöid bandmate Lan McCardle, who provides a familiar sparring partner with some soft background accents. The single only helps to build anticipation for the band’s upcoming new record Cotton Crown, out March 7th from Trouble In Mind.
