The Reds, Pinks and Purples – “Everything Holy”

Avatar

There’s been no end to the deluge of great music from The Reds, Pinks, and Purples over the last year, and it seems that Glenn’s got more in store. Today he offers up an EP of BBC sessions. Not one to simply send up a collection of his best, Glenn’s got three classics in there, pulling from both Uncommon Weather and Summer At Land’s End, but there’s also a new song written just for the live session. As followers of Glenn’s Bandcamp might be aware, the singles are in constant stream over there and non-album tracks have just as much chance to wind up a constant favorite as any that pack the official grooves. “Everything Holy” sighs over the strums, a graceful jangler, less blurry than some of the new songs, but fitting in nicely between the margins of Weather and Land. The new EP is up for a pay as you wish price over at his Bandcamp now and I’d recommend throwing some cash Glenn’s way.
