A little late-year treat out of Ohio as a follow-up single to the young band’s sorely overlooked debut In This Town slides out last week. The band’s jangled charms are in full effect throughout. There’s a wistful air as the band recounts an ode to San Francisco’s psych-pop legacy. The pair found their spark on this year’s debut and it seems they’re keeping the flame alive as the ’21 comes to a close, still echoing the guitar chime from the UK, to the West Coast, to Dunedin. This one’s a sunny strummer that might just let a little sun into dour days ahead. The single’s out now, a standalone that’s worth more than a few spins on the speakers this week.
