The Bures Band – “Mono Masking”

Aussie favorites The Bures Band waste no time following up their excellent album from last year. This year has seen the band slipping out ace singles, “The Pilot,” and “Green Town,” and now they add one more to the batch with “Mono Masking.” This one comes with a bit more fanfare, though, accompanying the announcement that a second album is on the way this fall. The band continues to catch the salt-air breezes that accompanied their debut, tapping into West Coast ‘70s psych, feeling like the lost link between Sand, The Byrds, Taos, and Country Funk. The band’s new album, Fool Circle, is out in October.
