Rosey Dust – “Faded Dreamer”

This record from Rosey Dust has been steadily spilling singles over the last year, but with the album finally out in the world, the band offers up one of its best that didn’t get a highlight. Opener “Faded Dreamer” blends power pop with a ‘90s bent that skids through some of the era’s guitar-forward romantics. Feeling like a kindred spirit to Radish, Fountains of Wayne, or The Young Fresh Fellows, the song builds from anthemic chorus to towering solo. It’s a beautifully buoyant way to kick into the band’s debut album, Phased Out. The record is out now direct from the band.
