A sweet jangler out of Texan indie pop outfit Paper Jam, who’ve had a sterling run of singles over the past few months. “Polka Dot Girl” leaps out into the speakers with the immediacy of Tiger Trap and the lightness of Talulah Gosh. The band sends jangles rippling around the room, a ray of sunshine that feels fit for 53rd & 3rd or Slumberland. Blink and you’ll miss the song with its 1:22 runtime, but the band wastes no time tugging at the heart with harmonies and double time strums paired with a bout of adorable animation in a new video.
