Natural Information Society & Bitchin Bajas – “Clock No Clock”

Amazing to see this collaboration take a second stab. Natural Information Society and Bitchin Bajas collaborated on a record in 2015 before both began to bloom into much larger entities. Now both bands return to the studio for a new record back at their old haunt Drag City. The first cut from the album hangs on the rhythmic pulse of Josh Abrams’ guimbri offset by Cooper Crane’s flute and Jason Stein on bass clarinet. With Mikel Patrick Avery setting a pulse behind the kit, “Clock No Clock” hooks the listener into the band’s deep den of sound. The pair up is looking to be an essential for 2025, with Totality arriving on April 25th from Drag City.
