Modern Nature – “Performance”

After a quiet runup and incredible physical release, it’s nice to get a bit of this Modern Nature LP to share this week. While I’ve said quite a bit about the album already, Cooper’s masterwork is well worth shining a light on once more. The album has finally been given a digital release date, for those who can’t swing the double LP + book combo, and if you’ve been itching to get into Island of Noise, the album lands digitally at the end of the month (Jan 28th). The percolating buzz of “Performance” comes complete with images from the accompanying film, directed by Cooper’s former Mazes bandmate Conan Roberts. If you were in the UK the film cropped up with some local screenings, but its nice to get another peek here.
