A second single slips easy and low out of the upcoming Hot Apple Band debut, and details on that record get a bit clearer today with the announcement of So Long, Noodle House. Like the first single, there’s quite a bit of ‘70s FM charm to the song. The band sinks into the slouch of George Harrison and Nilsson, while letting a bit of the tarnished turquoise surnburst of Americana seep through in Lewis Mosley’s guitar lines. The band splits the difference between the kind of lived-in cool of Drugdealer and the heart-on-sleeve earnestness of Stephen Bailey’s last sun-splashed solo stint. The new album finds its way out November 24th from Third Eye Stimuli and Earth Libraries.
