Gunn Truscinski Nace – “Tape”

Another glimpse into the new collaboration from Steve Gunn, John Truscinski, and Bill Nace slips out today. “Tape” fosters a more discordant side of the upcoming Glass Band. Nace’s contributions ping around the headspace looking to perch, but Truscincki’s drums keep the landscape ever changing. Gunn’s guitar winds into a vortex dive that starts out loose, but tightens into a circular sweep by the time the song comes to a tense close. The addition of Nace has reinvigorated the longstanding duo, dashing a few new spices in their sonic stew. The new record arrives July 28th from Three Lobed.
