Bananagun – “Day By Day”

Aussies Bananagun let out one of my favorites from last year, an album draped in lysergic contours. They follow fairly quickly with a one-off single. Recorded just shortly before the album, the new single “Day By Day,” winds the psych-folk inroads, letting a light lament out from the band that tackles the encroaching, and rather disastrous influence of technology on the modern world. Despite the dark undercurrent, the cut is a lovely little respite for a cold February morning. The new single is out now from Full Time Hobby.
