The Reds, Pinks and Purples – “All Night”

Amid a constant stream of singles and some of the best albums of the last couple of years, Glenn Donaldson’s sneaking in a bonus album for the Bandcamp crowd this summer. The mini-album rounds up seven new tracks, landing at the end of the week. The first single from the album, “All Night” finds Glenn in less shrouded environs than this year’s Summer At Land’s End — a straightforward jangler with a slow swing around the speakers. The once sideline band has become one of his most prolific in the last few years, and I’m always eager to see where he takes this project. Still Clouds at Noon is out July 29th.
