I’m always gonna be a sucker for claymation and the latest video from The Mary Veils is packed with some psychedelic visuals via the always entertaining Spaghetti Jesus. The Philly band bring a chaotic crunch to match the cut’s mesmerizing pacing — lighting up fuzz-tossed guitars and corroded vocals with a seething track of garage-gutted psych. SJ has done work in the past with Frankie and the Witch Fingers and King Gizzard, and the song shares some headspace between those bands’ louder moments and fellow heavies Fuzz and Osees. The Mary Veils’ new album Esoteric Hex is out now on PNKSLM.
