Highlighting the pedal steel work on the album, “Meadow Transmission” lopes in low and quiet on a bed of banjo and steel before synths open the song up into the soundtrack aura that permeates Rick Pedrosa’s (Abronia) new album. Fuzz and fusion banter with the country undercurrents on the song, winding up a perfect mixture of the influences that have gone under the broiler on the album. The Far Sound is out tomorrow, June 2nd from Centripetal Force.
