SUSS – “Winter Was Hard”

The past couple of days have been hectic, but I’m catching up on the pile of announcements, on which this new SUSS EP and album announcement sits quite high. In the wake of personal tragedy the band has released a series of EPs, starting with 2021’s Night Suite and continuing on with Heat Haze and the just announced Winter Was Hard. There will be one more EP to cap the set and they’ll all be culled together as the four sides of the band’s upcoming eponymous double LP. Accompanying the announcement for the set is a video for the Winter Was Hard title track, a calm, glowing slice of sadness that’s steeped in cold air and contemplation. The double set lands December 2nd on Northern Spy.
