A second single from Manchester’s Sumos lands today, injecting a jolt of jangle into your Thursday. “Small Talk” keeps the tide of fuzz roiling underneath the sunny strums, chewing on noise and power pop alike. No matter how you box it, the single is an energetic tumble that bounds out of the speakers with a joyful itch and just a touch of melancholy tugging at its heart.
