A second dose of the upcoming new record from Silver Synthetic comes ‘round today and it takes the band’s Cosmic Americana to clear blue heights. Above bucolic strums the band lays into creamy harmonies that beg for the bake-in brilliance of the sun and just the right amount of breeze to blow the scorch off the porch while this plays in the background. The band’s debut for Third Man is shaping up to be an essential pickup for the Spring as it tumbles into early Summer. Its almost windows down weather and when those temps creep up this one had better be on the car speakers as you let the last dregs of this desperate winter shake out into the rearview. The eponymous LP is out April 9th.
