RSTB faves Motorists return with a new single and an expanded lineup. Honed and hammered on the road over the last few months before being laid to tape, “Cristobal” knuckles down some of the band’s power pop snap into a more muscular indie sound. The song’s packed with tension, a roiling wall of guitars that rounded out with help from new member Moa-Linn Rosenlöf. Itchy, anxious, but ultimately defiant, the song simmers with the dynamic friction that have been one of the band’s enduring hallmarks. The new single is out now from We Are Time.
