Loose Koozies feat. Kelly Jean Caldwell – “I Won’t Be Leaving Here (Unless It’s With You)

Today finds a new single from RSTB faves Loose Koozies. The Detroit country crooners join up with Kelly Jean Caldwell (Saturday Looks Good To Me) who’s just off an excellent contribution to the recent Wooden Wand tribute album as well. Along with the Koozies, Caldwell and the band’s E.M. Allen work out their Gram and Emmylou dreams. The song is a survival tale of solidarity under long hours and low conditions. The cut departs a bit from the grit of the Koozies’ last album, leaning a bit further into their trad country touches. A little bit of twang to tide you over the holiday strain. The band is also making a $500 donation to Trans Santa and will add 100% of the purchase funds from the single to their gift. Trans Santa is a mutual aid social media campaign that connects anonymous gift-givers with queer and trans youth who are unhoused, in foster care, or otherwise without the crucial support they need to thrive.
