Large Plants – “The Carrier”

Good news for fans of Anglophile psych today. Jack Sharp’s solo offshoot from the on-hiatus Wolf People had a debut single out on Ghost Box earlier in the year. Now Large Plants have announced a full length LP from the label and it should easily scratch that damp, wooden psychedelic itch that the band have left wanting in their absence. Hung with Baroque curlicues of English wood-smoke, the title cut from the upcoming LP, The Carrier lets the listener into Large Plants’ world softly. Like slipping through a mossen dell and into a secret garden of sound, the song invites us all into Sharp’s world of lycergic wonder.
