Julianna Riolino – “You”

The first single off of this record was a charmer, but Juliana knocks it up one more notch with the huge sound of “You.” A touch of country lilt hangs over the single, but like her partners in Daniel Romano’s Outfit, wrangles in a sound that transcends the genre — stomping pianos, layered harmonies, fuzzed guitars, and a tattoo of drums pushing this song well beyond the speakers and out into the bright light of day. Like its predecessor the biggest hook is Riolino’s voice, bursting from every corner of the recording. The new record, All Blue, is out October 14th from You’ve Changed Records.
