Jim Nothing – “Fall Back Down”

Avatar

Another sweet slice of jangle-pop out of Kiwis Jim Nothing arrives today. The band’s last single took a harder indie edge pining for the ‘90s American underground, but for “Fall Back Down,” they embrace the easy sway of summer strums over sighing melodies. The band’s latest looks to their New Zealand influences, with a bit of The Bats in its blood, a tangled tale that serves as a nice counterpoint to some of the more bristling songs on their upcoming In The Marigolds. The new album is out September 15th from Meritorio and Melted Ice Cream.
