Hoover III – “Lazy Susan”

Big week for Hoover III related works, after the release of the lathe from offshoot Groop, Bert Hoover’s namesake burners turn in a companion piece to their album Water For The Frogs from last year. Coming as a contrast to the heavier tone of the album “Lazy Susan” hangs onto a more buoyant feeling and lets the psych-pop splatter through the speakers. Still rooted in the toasted scorch of ‘70s psych, the song also has a bit of a bubblegum bounce to it that’s reflected in the collage of cartoon and culture clips that adorn the accompanying video. The single supports the band’s upcoming tour and stint at Levitation at the end of the month. Check out the vid above.
