Gunn Truscinski Nace – “On Lamp”

RSTB is back after a little vacation around the holiday weekend and just in time for the return of longtime favorites Gunn-Truscinski Duo. This time the duo add in another familiar name, pairing with Bill Nace for a new album on Three Lobed. The first cut from the upcoming album, Glass Band, is the twilight creep of “On Lamp.” The song echoes off the horizon with an anxious aura that only becomes more apparent as the barren scrape of static and noise consume Gunn’s guitar. The song hints at some hunger waiting in the distance, an unnamed antagonist or force of nature that can be felt through the marrow. The new album is out July 8th.
