Ex-Vöid – “Churchyard”

Some awesome news out of the Prefect Records camp today as longtime RSTB faves Ex-Vöid announce their debut LP, co-released with Don Giovanni here in the States. The band, which features members of beloved indie band Joanna Gruesome captures the effervescent indie pop fizz that they’ve wield to fuel their singles, springing out of the gate with the album opener “Churchyard.” The song is a full sprint bolt through power-pop-fed guitars and a volley of male/female vocals. That little ripple of bittersweet ache cuts through the pop bounce here, but for the most part this is an absolute day-brightener. The new album, Bigger Than Before, is out March 25th.
