More good news out of the French indie circuit today. As their friends in EggS prepare a debut for Friday, En Attendant Ana announce their third LP for Trouble in Mind. The title track, “Principia” saunters through the speakers, a patient pop gem that’s propelled by slinking bass and the vocal swoon of singer Margaux Bouchaudon. The record boasts a collaborative genesis, bringing the band together to craft their songs with a purpose that lacquers a gloss on their pop acumen. The band still taps into the jangle pop axis, but reach further towards a ‘90s fizz that fills in the gaps with just the right balance ennui and bliss. Principia is out February 204th from Trouble in Mind.
