San Francisco can’t stop bringing the gems this week and circling the same oracle as April Magazine, Cindy announces their second album 1:2 on Tough Love and Mt St. Mtn. The first single embraces their overcast haze — graveyard daydreams that sit heavy on the heart and blot out the sun. The aura of Cindy is best described as thick. Every bit of “To Be True” sticks to the walls and coats the mind. Their’s is a woolen indie pop, not made for carefree moments, in fact, far from it. Though, if you require some solace, this is the weighted blanket of pop that you need today. The record is out digitally October 1st and physically November 1st.
