After a few months of waiting Bobby Lee unfurls another burner from the upcoming Endless Skyways. Hooked on a riff that’s got one foot in the acrid swamp of Endless Boogie and another in the air conditioned squirm of Neu, the song is greased to perfection, salving the the sunburn of the scorching riffs. A delightful stop-motion video accompanies the cut’s toasted twang, giving a bit of levity to its lock groove leer and dusting off the gnarled grit with a dose of domestic life. The new album is out June 23rd from Tompkins Square and you’d better bet its high on the list of most anticipated albums for the year.
