Bobbie Lovesong – “Inner Sea”

Always happy to get something new in from the Woodsist Fam. The first single from new signing Bobbie Lovesong pushes further afield than the label’s psychedelic folk frontline. On her new album, Lovesong interprets jazz standards alongside originals in a lavender pop haze. “Inner Sea” wafts in on oneiric plumes, warping and whispering between real and imaginary feelings. The melodies bounce like light off of metallic balloons, caught in an afternoon breeze and soaring towards the sun. The record was recorded while Bobbie was living communally in Taos, NM in 2020, lending the private press aesthetic that serves as the drive. On The Wind is out January 20th from Woodsist.
