Another single slides out of this upcoming Billy Tibbals EP, Stay Teenage, and it grabs hold just as immediately as the last. Feeling like Sparks covering The Buzzcocks, with a good dollop of glam glue holding together its power pop palette, the song swings at the listener with guitar crunch and vocal drama. The accompanying video trusses the band up in a bubblegum gloss, rendering the members in cartoon personas that drop nods to Rick Springield’s Mission: Magic! or The Archies. The new EP is available on the band’s tour routes, but hopefully elsewhere soon as it works its way out through official channels.
