RSTB faves Aux Meadows return with a new EP for the always excellent label Perpetual Doom. The band’s blend of cosmic psychedelics and country converge once more for a track that’s chugs as well as it choogles. A head nodding beat gives way to bright n’ buttered slides on “Perfect Toast.” The song ramps like its ready to ramble right on into full blown country cookin’ but then melts into the heat ripples on the highway, loose and liquid like a Rose City coda softened in the desert heat.
