Anna St. Louis – “Morning”

Avatar

Anna St. Louis’ new album is standing tall on the anticipated list around here and a new single is just what I need to cool off this early summer heat. “Morning” rises into view on strings n’ strums, a perfectly saturated vision of ‘70s songwriter charms. “Morning,” St. Louis notes, “is a song about surrender, about learning to let go in moments of joy, and about letting love’s timing naturally unfold.” The natural ease of the cut is hard to ignore, weighing on the listener like daylight dew — a slight refreshment before the deluge of the day. Her new album, In The Air, is out June 9th from Woodsist.
